Pastry Chef
Marta was born and raised in the Czech republic where she graduated from teaching college in Masaryk's University.
Instead of pursuing her career as an elementary school teacher in a foreign country, she opted to follow her second passion, a love for baking and art.
In 2006 she enrolled in French culinary institute's pastry program and in 2007 she graduated at the top of her class.
Since then Marta has been busy raising her 3 daughters and baking desserts for Cellini, family occasions and various charities.
Marta loves baking her pastry for Cellini's Restaurant and sharing her passion with her children and friends. The girls love helping their mom bake and learning the family secrets.
Cellini has been open for almost thirty years and serves traditional Italian comfort food with modern and Italian desserts in midtown Manhattan to families and high profile customers.
